Your Logo on the Dial or a Message on the Back?

Chrono Customs Editorial

Share your mark on the front. Keep a message on the back.

The front can show what you stand for. The back can hold why it matters. A dial logo and a caseback engraving give your watch two ways to feel personal.

Choose one, or use both on a model that supports them. Give each side a clear role so the design feels thoughtful, not crowded.

Your engraving: kept close

The caseback rests against your wrist. A message here can mark the reason for a gift without filling the dial with words.

  • A business milestone: an opening date or a thank-you.
  • A family gift: initials or a few words from you.
  • An achievement: the goal and the year.

Keep it short. Size the message within the engraving area, then check every name and date.

Pick the back that suits you

An open display back shows the movement on compatible models. A closed back gives you a surface for engraving. Choose which detail you want to see when you turn the watch over.

Explore the choices in the SUB/GMT, DJ or Stealth customizer. Options and prices vary by model; engraving is only offered where the watch supports it.

Bring the two sides together

Try a company mark on the front and a service date on the back. Or pair a personal symbol with a short message from the person giving the watch.

For a group gift, one shared dial can unite the team while individual messages make each watch personal. Discuss your company order with John to confirm the details and timing.

Start with the meaning. Then choose its place. Explore the customizers and build a watch with a story on both sides.

Your watch. Your story.
